About Me

My name is Karen, I am in my mid 50's and have been married to my wonderful husband for over 30 years. I am a proud mother of my son Tom and my beautiful daughter Tegan. I am also a doting grandmother to my grandson Archie.

We live in the beautiful countryside of Norfolk in a converted barn along with our two dogs Buddy and Poppy.

I like to think of myself incredibly fortunate to have lived and worked in many countries throughout the world, thus enabling me to use all my life experiences within my counselling practice. I have a passion for cooking and home design.

There is nothing more satisfying than having a whole bunch of friends and family over for wonderful food, wine and interesting conversation.

As a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, I value and create a safe, nurturing, empathetic, non-judgemental environment for all individuals, couples and families to explore underlying issues such as drug, alcohol and substance misuse, depression, anxiety and PTSD. I am bound by the ethical framework of the National Counselling Society.

I am a fully qualified, accredited and experienced Counsellor/Psychotherapist specialising in all theories including CBT (Cognitive behavioural therapy) which helps a person to quickly move through recent and past traumas to successfully overcome these symptoms.

Please refer to my credentials page.

We will work together to help you find a healthy balance between body and mind, and emotions that allow for successful relationships and work, self-empowerment, and to live a life full of hope, meaning and purpose.

My approach allows for an extraordinary connection that supports a focus on insight and change, helping you to discover and challenge your thought's and beliefs that might get in your way, while I help you to overcome fears, worry, anxiety, depression, addiction and to manage anger and stress in a calm, caring, non-judgmental environment.

I want you to get excited about your life!
